During the original lockdown of 2020 we had kicked around the idea of a sequel/companion disc to Stella Nova that would contain acoustic reimaginings of each track to convey a more stripped down/isolated feel (much like how most of us were feeling at the time, alone, apart, somber, self reflective, etc)
After a few demos/attempts we found New Wave to be the most receptive to the concept. Some of the lyrics are a little different but most of the song you know and love remains, just with a new feel.

In addition on "Side B" we also have a version of Medicate that was recorded live for an acoustic radio performance in June of 2018 (more than a year before we would eventually release the studio version!)
